After you have filled in a dental questionnaire, which also asks for any relevant medical conditions, a full examination of the teeth and gums including x-rays is carried out. A treatment plan is then discussed with you, taking into account individual requirements such as time, finances, treatment anxieties, cosmetic needs etc.
Before you attend your first appointment, please print and complete our patient questionnaire.
Smile design and Facial Aesthetics appointments
Many patients are now requesting elective procedures to improve both the appearance of the teeth with “smile design” and also “facial aesthetic” procedures. Separate consultations can be made to discuss these new treatments which may not be available with your traditional dentist.

These are booked in the same day. Phoning early is best to get a convenient appointment time. We can also provide most dental drugs and medications on the premises. This is far more convenient for our patients than having to take a prescription to a chemist.
Specialist Referral appointments
In house specialist referral appointments are also available for “root fillings” (endodontics) and also “dental implant” procedures. Normally these appointments are preceded with a consultation with a general dentist either a local dentist or ideally with a City Dental Clinic dentist.
We do ask for at least 2 business days notice if an appointment has to be cancelled otherwise a charge may be made.
Special appointments (**)
These can occasionally be made for out of hours times, particularly at the end of day.
