After completing his dental degree at the Royal London Hospital and a year of vocational training, Nami held a number of positions as Senior House Officer and Staff Grade in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in some of the most prestigious hospitals in England. This is where he learnt his basic and advanced surgical skills.
He then undertook his Masters of Science training programme at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital where he learnt all aspects of Periodontology. He has also completed the Advanced Diploma in Implant Dentistry course at the Royal College of Surgeons England.
Nami is also trained in dental sedation. He is affiliated with a number of societies including the British Society of Periodontology, International Team for Implantology and the Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.
Currently, Nami divides his working time between working in private practice and teaching postgraduate dental students on the MSc programmes in both Periodontology and Implant dentistry.
In his spare time, Nami enjoys travelling, reading and playing the guitar.
