Dr Ani Ohanyan – Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics
Dr Ani Ohanyan is a highly skilled dentist with a special interest in endodontics, known for her expertise in managing complex root canal cases. She is passionate about preserving natural teeth through advanced root canal treatments and is committed to providing the highest standard of care in a comfortable and stress-free environment. She does this using 3-D x-rays and a microscope to complete your treatments to the highest levels of detail.
Dr Ohanyan graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012. During her studies, she gained valuable clinical experience in the Maxillofacial Department, where she developed skills in surgical extractions. After moving to the UK in 2017, she further expanded her knowledge by completing a course in Paediatric Dentistry at University College London (UCL) and UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
Her strong interest in endodontics led her to pursue further postgraduate training, and she has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics. She since also completed a Master’s degree in Endodontics at the University of Chester, continuing to develop advanced skills in modern root canal techniques and the management of complex endodontic cases.
Dr Ohanyan is particularly known for her gentle and reassuring approach, making her especially skilled at treating nervous patients as well as children. She takes time to explain procedures clearly and ensures that patients feel relaxed and confident throughout their treatment.
In addition to endodontics, Dr Ohanyan provides a range of restorative and aesthetic treatments. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys staying active through fitness, cycling trips and spending quality time with family and friends. She is fluent in English, Greek, Armenian and Russian.
